Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms for neural network acceleration on D-Wave systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum-AI hybrid computing architectures
- Lead open-source projects in Qiskit and TensorFlow Quantum
- Collaborate with pharmaceutical partners on quantum-optimized molecular simulations
- Author peer-reviewed publications in Nature Quantum Information
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning methodologies
- Secure $1M+ in NSF grants for next-gen quantum-AI research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Machine Learning (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum error correction
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience securing federal research grants
