Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum neural networks for real-world deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for exponential speedups
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, ML engineers, and domain experts
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems with >99.9% reliability
- Translate theoretical quantum advantage into practical industry solutions
- Secure $20M+ R&D funding through strategic stakeholder presentations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Experience securing government/military quantum computing contracts
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow Quantum, and low-level quantum assembly
