Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Proactively approach customers to understand their needs and recommend products that fit their lifestyle.
- Sales Execution: Demonstrate product knowledge to close sales and achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor, including organizing merchandise and restocking shelves.
- Point of Sale: Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system, handling returns and exchanges with care.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, receiving shipments, and ensuring stock levels are accurate.
- Visual Merchandising: Support the visual presentation of the store by ensuring displays are eye-catching and up-to-date.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with management and fellow associates to ensure a seamless customer shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous retail or sales experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Technology: Basic computer literacy and comfort with point-of-sale systems.
