Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly upon entry and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Merchandising: Maintain the visual appeal of the sales floor by organizing displays, restocking inventory, and ensuring products are priced correctly.
- Sales Operations: Process sales transactions quickly and accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including handling cash, credit cards, and gift cards.
- Upselling: Proactively suggest additional products or services to meet sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and restrooms clean, tidy, and organized at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with store management and team members to coordinate daily activities and resolve customer issues.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required; training provided.
- Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and maneuver merchandise around the store.
- Technology: Basic computer literacy and comfort with using POS systems.
