Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service through product knowledge demonstrations and personalized recommendations
- Drive sales through upselling techniques and strategic merchandise presentation
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash handling security
- Execute visual merchandising standards to create engaging store displays
- Manage inventory tasks including stock replenishment and markdown execution
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and monthly sales targets
- Participate in store events and promotions to enhance customer engagement
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with diverse customers
- Basic math proficiency and comfort handling cash/POS systems
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (15-25 hrs/week)
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Passion for outdoor activities and willingness to learn product knowledge
