Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service during evening and overnight hours, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Drive sales through product knowledge, upselling techniques, and personalized recommendations
- Manage cash operations, process transactions accurately, and maintain secure cash handling protocols
- Execute inventory management tasks including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and organization
- Collaborate with night crew to ensure store cleanliness, safety standards, and operational readiness
- Utilize POS systems to process returns, exchanges, and loyalty program enrollments
- Support visual merchandising efforts to create an inviting shopping atmosphere during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year retail or customer service experience with proven sales aptitude
- Availability to work flexible night shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM) including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage diverse customer populations
- Basic math proficiency and comfort handling cash, credit, and debit transactions
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for overnight shift requirements
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly
- Proficiency with retail technology (POS systems, inventory scanners)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
