Responsibilities
- Architect and implement low-latency neural feedback loops for consumer-grade BCI hardware.
- Oversee the technical roadmap and research direction for next-generation neuro-implant technologies.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies and ethics boards to ensure safety and compliance in neural data handling.
- Lead a cross-functional team of hardware engineers, software developers, and neuroscientists.
- Optimize signal processing algorithms to improve signal-to-noise ratios in high-noise environments.
- Drive the patent portfolio for novel neural encoding and decoding techniques.
Qualifications
- PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Brain-Computer Interface development or neural signal processing.
- Deep expertise in machine learning algorithms applied to neurophysiological data.
- Experience with high-bandwidth data transmission protocols (e.g., Fiber Optics, Ultra-wideband).
- Strong background in embedded systems and low-level programming (C++, Rust).
- Proven track record of leading technical teams in high-stakes R&D environments.
