Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 innovation strategy aligned with market forecasts and technological disruption
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to identify high-impact opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to accelerate innovation
- Present future-focused insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Mentor a team of innovation specialists in futurism methodologies and trend analysis
- Monitor global geopolitical and socioeconomic shifts affecting long-term technology adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning with 5+ years in futurism or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services with $100M+ impact
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on 3-5 year strategic horizons
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or similar preferred
