Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends to develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Develop quantitative and qualitative foresight models using AI-driven analytics and scenario planning
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling data visualizations
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, conference keynotes, and industry collaborations
- Mentor junior futurists and build a robust foresight methodology across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Track record of translating foresight into measurable business outcomes and product launches
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or equivalent professional development
