Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the development of scalable, high-performance systems aligned with the 2026 strategic roadmap.
- Technical Strategy: Define engineering best practices, code standards, and architectural patterns for the Horizon Initiative.
- Team Mentorship: Lead a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and external partners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Roadmap Execution: Manage project timelines, mitigate technical risks, and ensure timely delivery of core features.
- System Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance and drive optimization strategies for future growth.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or architectural role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, with experience in modern web frameworks.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical projects from conception to deployment.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of solving ambiguous, high-stakes problems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
