Responsibilities
- Horizon Scanning: Conduct deep-dive research into emerging technologies (GenAI, Neural Interfaces, Autonomous Systems) to predict their commercial viability by 2026.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Develop and maintain a multi-year technology roadmap that aligns R&D efforts with long-term business objectives.
- Innovation Labs: Lead the 'Future Labs' initiative, prototyping and testing concepts that are currently theoretical.
- C-Suite Collaboration: Partner with the CTO, CFO, and CMO to translate complex tech trends into clear financial and operational strategies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex future scenarios to board members and investors with clarity and confidence.
- Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor competitor moves to identify gaps in their future strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in Technology Strategy, R&D Management, or Product Strategy, with a focus on long-term forecasting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business; MBA preferred.
- Tech Acumen: Deep understanding of AI, Blockchain, IoT, and next-gen computing architectures.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing high-stakes strategic projects.
- Future-Proofing: Demonstrated ability to pivot strategies in rapidly evolving markets.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex topics for diverse audiences.
