Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology) and their market implications through 2026
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with corporate vision and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into executable product blueprints
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation ROI and technology adoption curves
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board committees
- Build and maintain ecosystem of academic, startup, and industry partnerships for horizon scanning
- Author thought leadership content that positions Nexus as the future's voice
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years experience in technology forecasting, corporate strategy, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products/services
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and strategic foresight frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or patents in emerging tech domains
