- Analyze global tech trends, market disruptions, and scientific innovations to identify opportunities for 2026+ market leadership
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and future-proofing strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry shifts and recommend adaptive innovation frameworks
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging technologies (quantum, bioAI, AR/VR) into scalable solutions
- Represent Horizon at global tech summits, publishing thought leadership in top-tier publications
- Mentor R&D teams on futuristic thinking methodologies and rapid prototyping cycles
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against 5-year strategic horizons
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism with proven impact on enterprise roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized AI, or neurotech
- Published thought leadership (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes) on future-focused innovation
- Experience translating complex scientific concepts into executable business strategies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global innovation ecosystems
- Advanced degree in Technology, Futures Studies, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Track record of launching at least two transformative tech initiatives with measurable ROI
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE, APF) or equivalent foresight methodology
