Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify transformative technologies with 2026 market impact
- Develop and publish annual technology roadmaps aligning with corporate vision and industry disruptions
- Design strategic frameworks for emerging tech adoption (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Present strategic briefings to stakeholders on future-state scenarios and risk mitigation strategies
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track adoption of futuristic technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurism or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, neurotech)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent strategic foresight training
- Exceptional storytelling skills to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership on technology's societal impact in 2026+ contexts
