- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast tech impacts on industry verticals
- Build partnerships with research institutions and startups for early-stage technology scouting
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
- Advise executive team on tech investments and R&D priorities
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record developing 5+ year tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least three emerging technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, or neurotech
- Published author in tech futurism or peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of disruptive technologies
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
