Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends, market shifts, and scientific breakthroughs to forecast industry trajectories through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable energy solutions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and implementation priorities
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and scenario analyses for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions targeting 2026 market readiness
- Establish innovation metrics and KPIs to track progress toward future-state objectives
- Represent the company at global tech conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, nanotech, biotech convergence)
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities with published thought leadership
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures simply
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/DF, APF) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state implementation projects
