Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, advanced AI) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-10 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies with measurable KPIs
- Publish thought leadership in industry journals and conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of anticipating market trends and driving tech adoption
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex projects
- Strong presentation skills with executive communication expertise
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies preferred
