Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and academic research to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities by 2026
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology foresight framework with quarterly horizon scanning
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate emerging technologies into 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and board members with quantified impact assessments
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and innovation labs
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational capabilities with future technological demands
- Produce annual 'FutureTech' reports for investors and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech convergence
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex technological interdependencies
- Published thought leadership in tech foresight (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term technological disruption
- MSc/PhD in relevant field or equivalent demonstrable expertise
