Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate, geopolitics) to map 2026+ business scenarios
- Develop proactive innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year strategic horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and executive briefings on disruptive forces
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for emerging market needs
- Build and manage a network of futurist thought leaders and academic partners
- Advise leadership on ethical implications of exponential technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or APF)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or trend analyses
