Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market signals impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop future scenario models and strategic roadmaps for enterprise transformation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term vision and execution plans
- Author thought leadership publications and executive briefings on emerging trends
- Quantify future risks and opportunities through data-driven forecasting and scenario planning
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for next-generation challenges
- Advise executive committee on strategic pivots and innovation investments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruptive technology assessment
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech trajectories
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or foresight academy)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused projects with measurable business impact
