Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Chair cross-functional working groups to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present executive briefings on future scenarios and strategic implications to the board
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and measure ROI of futuristic projects
- Build and manage an internal 'Future Intelligence' team of domain experts
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic planning, innovation leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or space tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (whitepapers, journals, conferences)
