Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026-2030 market landscapes in AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and marketing teams to prototype future-ready solutions
- Present strategic foresight briefings to the board of directors and executive leadership team quarterly
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to maintain competitive advantage
- Design and implement organizational foresight methodologies to embed future-readiness across all departments
- Produce executive-ready trend reports with actionable recommendations for C-level decision-making
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Future Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record translating complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and societal implications
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to influence C-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism, innovation, or technology strategy (top-tier journals preferred)
