Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech domains
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks with 3-5 year predictive models
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights into actionable business strategies
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global innovation forums
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-oriented insights into R&D pipelines
- Establish key metrics to track emerging technology adoption curves
- Manage relationships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published research in peer-reviewed foresight or technology journals
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, SFI)
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and predictive analytics platforms
