Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and executing the 2026 innovation strategy, aligning with corporate vision and market trends
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Design and implement scenario planning frameworks for long-term strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D to translate futuristic concepts into viable product roadmaps and pilots
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers for continuous intelligence gathering
- Drive adoption of future-thinking methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting with proven track record in tech-forward industries
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal/business implications (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong experience with scenario planning, trend forecasting, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven ability to influence C-level executives and drive organizational change
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism (white papers, journals, conferences)
