Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives identifying paradigm-shifting technologies with 18-24 month impact
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech adoption
- Chair cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and sustainability teams
- Present strategic futures to C-suite and external stakeholders including NASA and DARPA
- Establish industry-wide standards through published whitepapers and conference keynotes
- Mentor next-gen futurists through our Future Leaders Academy program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation with 5+ years in futures forecasting or equivalent
- Proven track record developing commercialized technologies with 2026+ impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, neurotech, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (e.g., Nature Futures, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience leading $10M+ innovation portfolios with measurable ROI
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Security clearance eligibility (or ability to obtain) for government partnerships
