Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast technological, social, and economic trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market landscape
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops with Fortune 500 executives to align innovation initiatives with long-term business objectives
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and trend reports published in top-tier industry publications
- Design scenario-planning models for climate resilience and sustainable technology adoption
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging methodologies like neuro-forecasting and digital twin simulations
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and national labs to pioneer next-gen research initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field with 7+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of delivering C-level strategic briefings on emerging tech disruptions
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI, or climate tech
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities with proficiency in visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry-leading platforms (e.g., MIT Tech Review, Wired)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston) or equivalent professional credential
- Portfolio demonstrating successful trend-impact analysis for Fortune 500 clients
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and Delphi technique facilitation
