Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology disruptions across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Develop actionable strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies into core business operations
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and risk/opportunity assessment
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of innovation partners including startups, research institutions, and thought leaders
- Translate foresight insights into product development pipelines and go-to-market strategies
- Present future outlooks to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and storytelling
- Mentor innovation teams in futures thinking methodologies and strategic planning frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record developing future-oriented strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive decision-making
- Portfolio demonstrating futures research outputs and strategic impact
- Experience with foresight methodologies including Delphi, Horizon Scanning, and Trend Impact Analysis
