Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary 'Future Councils' with engineers, ethicists, and industry disruptors
- Anticipate societal disruptions and design mitigation strategies for emerging technologies
- Partner with product teams to incubate moonshot projects targeting 2026 market readiness
- Produce annual 'Horizon Report' predicting paradigm shifts in AI, climate tech, and neuro interfaces
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor next-gen futurists through our 'Visionary Fellowship' program
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on AI governance, quantum applications, or sustainable tech
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic risk assessment
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technologies brought from concept to market impact
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, etc.)
- Experience advising C-suite on emerging tech implications
- Deep understanding of Web3, AGI safety frameworks, and climate tech innovations
