Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends, market shifts, and societal drivers to forecast 2026+ industry landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and strategic roadmaps for emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on innovation priorities and resource allocation
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive presentations for C-suite and board audiences
- Partner with product teams to translate foresight into viable innovation pipelines and MVPs
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, conference keynotes, and industry collaborations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D planning, or futurist consulting at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or market shifts
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
