- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and quantify disruptive technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2030
- Develop and maintain Horizon's proprietary Future Intelligence Framework, integrating AI-driven analytics with human foresight
- Translate complex future scenarios into strategic roadmaps for product development and market entry
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-oriented solutions and validate emerging market opportunities
- Deliver executive briefings and innovation workshops that drive data-informed strategic decisions
- Author thought leadership publications and patents on emerging technology convergence points
- Establish cross-industry partnerships with research labs, accelerators, and academic institutions
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with demonstrated impact
- Portfolio of published trend analyses or scenario-planning projects for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in AI/ML adoption curves, biotech convergence, climate tech economics, or neuro-interfaces
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience building innovation ecosystems and managing cross-functional future-focused teams
- Published author or speaker at global innovation forums (e.g., CES, Web Summit, Singularity University)
