Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging markets and exponential technologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state opportunities
- Author strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on long-term industry evolution
- Design and pilot innovation sprints for breakthrough business models
- Monitor global policy/regulatory changes affecting technological adoption
- Represent company at future-focused conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, futurist research, or innovation leadership
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Proven track record developing future-state roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities for complex concepts
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, SFI preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning tools and trend analysis platforms
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-state analyses or innovation frameworks
