- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic research to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on technological disruption scenarios
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and integrate breakthrough startups
- Establish ethical frameworks for 2026-era AI and biotechnology implementations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with demonstrable impact on future-facing initiatives
- Expertise in emerging tech forecasting (quantum, AGI, Web3.0, climate tech)
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (IEEE, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary R&D teams with $50M+ budgets
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurism
