Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven insights
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and measure ROI of innovation initiatives
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortiums
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of future technologies and develop mitigation frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future tech or innovation roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, blockchain)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and presenting to executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, labs, accelerators)
- Certifications in technology strategy, innovation management, or future studies preferred
