Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 horizon
- Lead market research on emerging technologies (quantum, AI, neuromorphic computing)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype future solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders quarterly
- Manage $20M+ annual R&D budget allocation
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on tech deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MBA
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain)
- Experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management
- Certification in technology forecasting or innovation management preferred
