Responsibilities
- Architect and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and decentralized infrastructure
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption and market disruption scenarios
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven recommendations
- Manage innovation lab budget and resource allocation for high-impact projects
- Anticipate and mitigate ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership, with 5+ years focused on future-tech roadmapping
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, or bio-digital integration
- Published thought leadership in future-tech journals or major industry conferences
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or venture capital for experimental projects
- Strong proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
