Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging fields like neuromorphic computing and decentralized AI
- Analyze disruptive technologies (quantum, biotech, climate tech) for strategic integration opportunities
- Present visionary concepts to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation labs
- Mentor teams in agile methodologies and future-proof technology adoption
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting long-term tech strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least three of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, sustainable tech, or neurotech
- Executive-level communication with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or similar tier-1 journals
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience securing >$10M in R&D funding or venture partnerships
