Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap by analyzing emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing proof-of-concepts for breakthrough technologies with $500K+ annual R&D budgets
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and market research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven ROI projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for innovation scouting
- Develop implementation frameworks for integrating emerging technologies into core business operations
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (demonstrated via patents or product launches)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with experience developing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Strong financial acumen for technology investment analysis and ROI modeling
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced tech environments
