Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Analyze competitive landscapes and emerging threats/opportunities in future tech ecosystems
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Drive R&D investments in breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year impact horizons
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of experimental innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech leadership roles
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum, IoT, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching innovative products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management expertise
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD) or equivalent experience
- Portfolio of published research or patents in emerging technologies
