Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmap focusing on quantum-AI convergence and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with budgets exceeding $20M annually
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with patent potential through global innovation scouting
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine symbiosis
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Mentor next-gen engineers in future-tech specialization tracks
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and leading quantum research institutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies (3+ products to market)
- Expertise in quantum computing architectures, neuromorphic systems, or climate tech
- Published research in Nature/Science journals with 50+ citations
- Experience scaling tech teams from 5 to 50+ engineers
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for AI and biotechnology
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
