Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026+ technology strategy roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology foresight to C-suite and board members with data-driven impact analysis
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor technical teams on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact on 2020s innovations
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI, or neurotech
- Track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (portfolio required)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (IEEE, Nature Tech)
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
