Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neuromorphic systems) with commercial viability
- Translate technical capabilities into strategic business initiatives with measurable ROI
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Manage portfolio of pilot projects exploring breakthrough technologies
- Establish KPI frameworks for technology adoption and innovation impact
- Represent company at global tech forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, blockchain, biotech, or quantum computing
- Executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
