Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, blockchain, biotech)
- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic research for competitive advantage
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite on exponential tech adoption risks/opportunities
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify acquisition targets in emerging sectors
- Design ethics frameworks for autonomous systems and AI deployment
- Forecast societal impacts of technological shifts through scenario modeling
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching products with $10M+ ARR
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier journals
- Certification in Technology Foresight (TFP) or equivalent
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on digital transformation
- Portfolio of 3+ patented innovations
