Responsibilities
- Architect next-gen technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop prototype solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Identify emerging tech trends and translate them into actionable business strategies
- Partner with VPs of Innovation to secure $10M+ R&D budgets for experimental projects
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive patent development for at least 3 breakthrough technologies annually
- Mentor junior futurists through our Tech Vanguard program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products with $5M+ budgets
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling skills
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
- Experience securing government and private sector innovation grants
