Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry predictions and market trends
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable R&D projects
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and investors
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory impacts on future tech adoption
- Author thought leadership reports on technology disruption timelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven experience developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Strong presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- Track record of launching innovative tech products or services
- Certification in technology forecasting (e.g., Foresight Practitioner) a plus
