Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market forecasts and business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) for strategic integration and competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities and prioritize R&D investments
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders using data-driven insights
- Partner with product teams to ensure technology adoption aligns with user needs and market trends
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory changes affecting our 2026 strategy
- Build relationships with academic institutions and research labs for collaborative innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven experience developing 5+ year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, or sustainable tech)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in technology management (e.g., CTO Academy, Stanford LEAD) preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future trends
