Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps spanning 2026-2030, integrating quantum computing, AI, and biotechnology trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams to align on future priorities
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, quantum AI)
- Author strategic whitepapers and policy recommendations for technology governance frameworks
- Manage partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies to shape technology adoption standards
- Mentor junior futurists and establish innovation KPIs for long-term impact measurement
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in technology strategy consulting or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in strategic modeling tools (e.g., System Dynamics, Agent-Based Modeling)
