Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech integration, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, ethicists, and futurists to prototype 2026-vision products
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation labs
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, climate tech)
- Design governance frameworks for AI/ethical technology deployment
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven track record launching products with 2020+ technology integration
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Certification in Futures Thinking, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent
- Experience developing ethical frameworks for disruptive technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
