Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess their strategic implications for 2026
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and validate future technology applications
- Establish KPIs and success metrics for innovation initiatives and track ROI
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget and resource allocation for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of launching successful future-focused tech initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong background in at least two emerging technology domains
- Executive presence with exceptional communication and presentation skills
- MBA or advanced degree in technology, business, or related field
- Certification in innovation management or strategic foresight preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating previous tech strategy deliverables (roadmaps, white papers, etc.)
