Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with global market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning and predictive analysis for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and executive teams to translate strategic vision into development roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite stakeholders and external partners
- Establish KPIs and frameworks to measure technology adoption impact and ROI
- Build and manage a global network of innovation scouts and research partners
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (demonstrated through patents, publications, or major implementations)
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, neurotech)
- Experience leading cross-continental, cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking capabilities
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks and societal impact of technology
- Fluency in strategic planning methodologies and scenario planning tools
