Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with enterprise adoption potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and investors
- Build competitive advantage through patent strategy and IP development
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for experimental technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations post-2020
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Executive-level experience with Fortune 500 or Series B+ startups
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Strong network within DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
